Egyptian Prince Moses learns of his identity as a Hebrew and his destiny to become the chosen deliverer of his people. Dark and brutal, period. But I love the relationship between Ramses and Moses set on top of a pretty accurate re-telling of The Book of Exodus.
Stunning animation and great songs. One of the few non-Disney animated musicals from the 90's to nail it without feeling like a knockoff. G 83 min Animation, Adventure, Drama. A wild stallion is captured by humans and slowly loses the will to resist training, yet, throughout his struggles for freedom, the stallion refuses to let go of the hope of one day returning home to his herd. An underrated gem which shows the power of animation. Animating horses so true to real life ones is a painstaking job.
I admire their hard work and the brave move by DreamWorks. Stunningly beautiful. G 65 min Animation, Adventure, Drama. One of the most beautiful forrest landscapes in any Disney movie.
Bambi's journey through the tough life in the forrest is both cute, dark, dramatic and sad. G 88 min Animation, Adventure, Comedy. A living puppet, with the help of a cricket as his conscience, must prove himself worthy to become a real boy.
A Steven Spielberg film has kickass written all over it. And thus, this film is one of those which took the anime scene to a whole new level.
The film also grossed over USD million. Also, if the name itself doesn't convince you to watch the film, I don't know what will. Another fairy-tale depiction, Frozen is an anime masterpiece of ! Every bit of this film is as real and dramatic as any other non-animated drama could be. Won't be a waste of time, I assure you.
