As a result, gel color polish at the low or bottom side will not get enough light power to cure it completely. What you have is gel color polish that is only partially cured. Here is what happened:. The top side of this thick gel color gets cured first, then it prevents the UV light from going deeper to cure the lower layer of this gel color polish. The additional layer of this thick gel color polish will also block the UV light from getting to this uncured first layer.
Gel top coat: being clear in color, it is easily cured by an LED nail lamp because it lets the UV light pass through. You can visualize this as you separate two pieces of sandwich bread with mayonnaise in the middle.
The last possible factor that can cause your gel polish to peel off in one piece is your LED nail lamp. If you happen to use an old type of UV nail lamp, you can quickly tell that they have fluorescent light bulbs instead of a series of tiny LEDs attached to the inside of the lamp.
